Chapter 93

The Regulations for the Community (Part 3)

About forgiving and asking for forgiveness (1-2).
Healing out of the Spirit of God (3-4). The responsible ones in the community (5-10)

1. And another asked, "Master, if one has committed a sin, can a person forgive him his sin or not?” And Jesus said, "God forgives every sin to those who repent; but what you have sown you must also reap. Neither God nor man can forgive the sins of those who do not repent or renounce their sins; just as little as they can retain the sins of those who renounce them. But when one is in the Spirit and clearly recognizes that one repents of his sins and renounces them, he may truly say to the repentant sinner, 'You are forgiven your sins.' For every sin is forgiven by repenting and making amends; and those who renounce them are released therefrom, but those who continue to sin remain bound to their sin.

2. Nevertheless, the fruits of sin continue for some time; as we sow so must we reap. For God does not let Himself be mocked, and those who sow in the flesh will reap corruption, but those who sow in the Spirit will reap eternal life. To the one who renounces and confesses his sins, the elder shall speak in this way, 'May God forgive you your sins and lead you to eternal life.' Every sin against God is forgiven by God, and every sin against man is forgiven by man. (Chap. 93:1-2)

I, Christ, explain, correct
and deepen the word:

Only the one against whom his neighbour has sinned can forgive his sin. No uninvolved person, a second or third party, can forgive him his sin.

What man sows he will also reap, unless he repents in time of his sins, the violations of the law, and asks his neighbour for forgiveness through Me, the Christ. If the latter forgives him, then his sin is taken away from him, for God wipes out everything that has been repented and forgiven, if the person endeavours not to do the same anymore.

But what is not repented and forgiven has to be expiated, either in this life or in one of the next earthly lives or in the spheres of purification, where the soul will go after it leaves its body.

And if one asks for forgiveness and is not forgiven his debt, not even God will take it from him. However, God's love and grace will increasingly irradiate the unforgiving one with His light, so that he, too, may recognize his wrong behaviour, forgive his neighbour and also ask for forgiveness himself. For it is not always one alone who is guilty of a misdeed. In many cases, both of them are guilty through their behaviour.

Before the causes become effective in the body, the love and grace of God touch the heart of the sinner again and again and move it to clear up the sin in time, by forgiving and asking for forgiveness; for every sin is a guilt, that is, an offence against the divine law.

Only the one who has obtained forgiveness from his neighbour can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, O man, pay attention to your thoughts and speech, so that both thought and speech may comply with My law.

Man can indeed forgive, but only God can dissolve the blemish of the soul. The elder can explain to those who ask for forgiveness and who forgive, according to the law of reparation, that only those sins are dissolved which are no longer committed in the future. Man cannot absolve sins, only God.

When two persons have a quarrel and cannot clear up their disagreement, because they do not know the divine laws, they can be advised, if they so wish, by a wise elder or by the angel of the community on what the eternal laws say, so that it may again be possible for both to think and act in a lawful way.

3. And another asked Him, "When one among us is sick, will we have the power to heal as You do?” And Jesus answered, "This power comes from perfect chastity and faith. Those who are born of God keep their seed within them.

4. But if one among you is sick, let him send for the elder of the community, that he may anoint him with olive oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith, the flowing out of power, together with a prayer of thanksgiving, will raise him up, if he is not held down by sin from this life or a former life. (Chap. 93:3-4)

I, Christ, explain, correct
and deepen the word:

In My community, there will be people who have the gift of healing. In order to be able to heal from the Spirit of God, their souls have to be purified for the most part, so that My healing stream can flow through them to the weak soul and to the suffering body.* But only the person who gives over to Me the burden of his body - the sin which has its effect there - can recover. Then healing takes place by way of his soul, provided that this is good for the soul and the body. However, if the person continues to commit the same faults, then it is better for his soul that he bear his suffering and mature through it, even if it is in one of the next earthly lives, for the faults are equal to his suffering.

There are no ceremonies in heaven. In many cases, I conceded them to the unknowing people, who knew but a part of the laws of life, because they still clung to rituals and, through rituals, found their way to stillness and introspection.

My own, who know the law and live in My community, which is a building stone of the Kingdom of Peace, do not need ceremonies and thus not even the anointing. Heaven is the law of love, and so shall it be on earth among My own.

The person who asks Me for healing shall also, at the same time, give thanks for the healing; for the one who asks from the heart and does works of selfless
love
- and no longer commits the same sins - has already obtained healing in his soul. Give thanks and be certain that the one who thanks from the heart and does not commit his faults anymore has already received.

5. And another asked Him, "Master, how shall the holy community be ordered and who shall serve in it?” And Jesus answered, "When My disciples are gathered in My name, let them choose from among themselves true and faithful men and women who assume duties and advise in worldly matters, who provide for the necessities of the poor and of those who cannot work, and let them administer the possessions of the community and assist in the offering, and let them, through their help, be your deacons.

6. And when these have proved themselves in their service, let them choose from among themselves those who have spiritual gifts, whether of leadership, prophecy, preaching, teaching or healing, so that they may spiritually edify the flock, make the holy offering and celebrate the mysteries of God and let these be your elders and their helpers.

7. And from those who have served well in their position, let them choose one who is considered most worthy and let him preside over all and he shall be your angel. And let the angel appoint the deacons and consecrate the elders, by anointing them and laying hands upon them and breathing upon them, that they may receive the Holy Spirit for the service to which they are called. And as for the angel, let one of higher leadership from the supreme council anoint and consecrate him.

8. For as I have sent apostles and prophets, so I send evangelists and pastors, too - the eight and forty pillars of the temple - that by the service of the four I may build up and perfect My community. They shall sit in Jerusalem in a holy congregation, each with his helper and deacon, and to them shall the scattered congregations refer in all matters regarding the maintenance of the community. And just as the light comes, so shall they lead and guide and edify and teach My holy community. They shall receive light from all, and to all shall they give more light.

9. And do not forget, in your prayers and invocations, intercessions and thanksgiving, to offer the incense, as it is written in the last of your prophets: From the rising of the sun until its setting, incense shall be offered in My name in all places as a pure offering; for My name shall be great among the Gentiles.

10. For verily, I say to you, incense is the reminder of the hidden intercession of the saints with words that cannot be uttered. (Chap. 93:5-10)

I, Christ, explain, correct
and deepen the word:

All those who, on the Inner Path to the kingdom of the heart, have recognized and actualized the second level, the divine will, serve in My community. They are becoming mature for the deeds in My Spirit.

The ones who are in My service are the angel of the community, the elders, the healers-by-faith, the spiritual teachers, the leaders of the Inner Spirit-of-Christ Churches and those who selflessly work in serving their neighbours.

The community life does not have any rigid forms. A life in My Spirit is evolution. There are no superiors and subordinates.

Again and again, men and women who have matured in the Spirit are elected from the community who preside over the growing community or build up further communities, so that the earth may be populated with people who do the will of the Father-Mother-God.

At first, those elected are placed at the side of the spiritual teachers and the leaders of the Inner Spirit-of-Christ Churches and those who carry out various tasks, like, for example, in education and social concerns and in the field of business and finance, as well as at the side of those who care for the poor and administer the community possessions. In this way, they mature for further tasks in My Spirit that require their self-reliance, so that the community - and in the broadest sense, the communities - may expand and the Kingdom of Peace may thus grow on earth.

The elected men and women shall also increase the number of elders. Therefore, let some gifted ones lead the community life under the supervision of an elder, be it in the community evenings, the prayer evenings, the Inner Spirit-of-Christ Churches and in everything that is incumbent on the elders.*

Some elected elders or the angel of the growing community will set up and keep the community book for further communities and will see to it that all essential things occurring within the community are recorded.

And if one among those elected stands out through good, selfless deeds, by observing the eternal laws, give him the opportunity to become the angel of a community. He will be appointed by the elders and the community as an angel only when he has successfully gone through the years of probation and has truly completed the fourth level, the divine earnestness, and has become My word, the law.

Let it be said: I teach My law to My own, so that it will be on earth as it is in heaven.

My own, who know and keep My laws because they are walking the Inner Path to the kingdom of the inner being, to the law of life, do not need ceremonies - nor evangelists or pastors.

The one who does My will knows the law. The pastor is then the law. This is the Christ within you through the person who is My word and hears My word within himself.

The one who is My word - the angel - and those who hear My word - the elders - and those who are close to My word - the healers-by-faith, the spiritual teachers and the leaders of the Inner Spirit-of-Christ Churches - and all those who selflessly serve My community are responsible for My community.
