1. And when the Passover supper had ended, the lights were kindled, for it was evening. And Jesus arose from the table, laid aside His cloak and put on a towel. Afterwards, He poured water into a basin, washed the feet of all of the fourfold twelve and dried them with the towel with which He was girded.
2. And one of them said, "Lord, You should not wash my feet.” And Jesus said, "If I do not wash you, you are no part of Me.” And he answered, "Lord, not only my feet, but also my head and my hands.”
3. And Jesus said to him, "The one who comes out of
the bath has to wash but his feet, for he is quite clean.” (Chap. 76:1-3)

Washing the feet was a symbol as well. It signifies the inner purification.
In order to reach perfection, soul and person have to begin by opening the "lowest” basic power, the order. That means to purify the sensations and thoughts and to ennoble them in such a way that the words of the person, too, are vivified with My life. Then the person gradually recognizes the will of God. At the same time, the person striving towards God will refine his human senses more and more in order to attain inner nobility. This takes place from one step of evolution to another. The maturing soul and the awakened person become noble and good.
In this way, soul and person gradually open the seven basic powers of the soul which are the law of God. When the soul has completely opened these seven basic powers from order to mercy, it is then the immaculate spiritual body again, the drop in the ocean, God, in the law of life.
4. When He had put on His cloak of pure white linen without spot or seam, He sat again at the table and said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Lord and Master, and you say it well, for so I Am. And as I have washed your feet, you, too, should wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, so that you do what I have done to you.
5. I give to you a new commandment, that you love one
another and all the creatures of God. Love is the fulfilment of the law. Love is from God,
and God is love. The one who does not love does not know God. (Chap. 76:4-5)

The one who is able to selflessly love all people and all forms of life, that is, who no longer rates, evaluates and judges, fulfils the law.
The law, God, is love, because God is love. The one who lives selfless love is pure. He perceives God, the law of love, in all people, in all forms of life and in all things, because he knows God, the law of love.
The one who does not know himself does not know the law, God, either, nor does he perceive the law of love, God, in all people, forms of life and things.
6. Now you are pure through the word which I have spoken
to you. By this shall all people recognize that you are My disciples, that you love one
another and show mercy and love to all the creatures of God, especially to those which are
weak and oppressed and suffer innocently. For the whole earth is filled with dark places
of cruelty, with torment and fear, due to the selfishness and ignorance of man. (Chap.
76:6)

"... pure through the word” means that the one who actualizes My word which is life and power will become pure in soul and body. The one who is pure in heart also helps in the world so that all the people who long for God find fulfilment and so that the dark places of horror, where torment, fear and death prevail, become more light-filled. For then, even there, the life in God awakens and blossoms and people find their way towards inner peace.
The one who lives in God becomes the true selfless fighter for the Kingdom of God which is peace. He fights with the weapons of love against the selfishness and ignorance of his fellow man, so that the earth may be renewed by Me, the Christ.
7. I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse
you, give them light in their darkness, and let the Spirit of love dwell within your heart
and overflow to all people. And once more, I say to you: Love one another and all the
creatures of God.” And when He had finished, they all said, "Praised be
God.” (Chap. 76:7)

What I said as Jesus of Nazareth was meant not only for My own who were with Me, the Jesus, and not only for the people of that time. It was and is meant for people of all nations and of all generations; for it is the word of God which was and is directed to all people. It will be given until many people have become the law of life and they themselves then speak the word, the law, God. Then everything which was foretold by Me as Jesus and by the true prophets of God will have been fulfilled.
Then, when I come again in the spirit, the earth will be purified to a great extent, so that it may be able to receive My light, the light of the Christ. Then all people who live upon the purified earth will fulfil the commandments of God and speak the word, the law, since they live the law.
It is the task of the soul to become again, in its various earthly lives of the different eras, the law, God, the word of life. People who have attained higher degrees of purity will love one another and all creatures of God, as I have loved and love them.
8. And then, He raised His voice, and they joined
together, saying, "As the stag longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for You, O
God!” And when they had finished, one brought to Him a censer full of glowing coals,
and He spread incense on it, the same incense which His mother had given Him on the day of
His manifestation, and the sweetness of the scent filled the room. (Chap. 76:8)

The so-called censer stood in the rooms of distinguished citizens. Incense symbolizes the consecrated life. It was and is used by many people who were not and are not aware of this meaning. In the institution church as well, incense is still used in ceremonies. On the other hand, the consecrated life is not lived by many people, even in the institution church. And yet, what is not lived remains a symbol and is thus also meaningless.
9. Then Jesus, placing before Himself the platter and
behind it the chalice, and lifting up His eyes to heaven, gave thanks to God for His
goodness in all things and unto all, and took the unleavened bread in His hands and
blessed it. Then He mingled the wine with water and blessed it, chanting the invocation of
the sevenfold holy name, calling upon the three-in-one to send down the Holy Spirit and
make the bread to be His body, that is, the body of Christ, and the wine to be His blood,
that is, the blood of Christ, for the remission of sins and for an eternal life to all who
obey the gospel. (Chap. 76:9)

In the world, the one who holds an office uses the vocabulary that is necessary for it. Translators, too, can interpret the texts only with their vocabulary, which corresponds to their level of consciousness. Furthermore, the translations could not and cannot always be made according to the meaning of the word, since the same words can have a different meaning for each person - in accordance with his consciousness and his conception. Thus, in many cases, My word, too, was seen in the light of the faith of those who interpreted it. Therefore, I explain, correct and deepen the word which has been written in the book, "The Gospel of Jesus”.
As Jesus of Nazareth, I often prayed to God, My Father, and communed with Him. I prayed to Him, the Eternal, for the blessing of the Last Supper with My own.
I spoke to them as follows: Continue to do in My memory what I now do. The food is for the body. I offer it to you as a symbol of inner strengthening.
Recognize that My body is given, so that you may attain eternal life. Let your body become a temple of God, so that the Spirit may be active in and through you. Through the resurrection of My spiritual body, you, too, will resurrect; for the Christ of God, who goes to the Father, is the Spirit of truth in God. The Spirit of truth will purify your spiritual body, and the light of the world, which I Am, will shine in and through you. For through My resurrection, I Am the light in you and the purification of your soul. The one who believes in Me and fulfils the laws of the heavens will attain rebirth into the Spirit of My Father through Me, the Christ.
I took the wine, added some water to it and spoke as follows: What I tell you now is a symbol. Recognize the meaning and think of Me while you eat and drink; for the Spirit of life, who I Am, is in all things.
The wine is the symbol of My blood, which I will shed for all souls and men. The Spirit of the soul must be awakened again by soul and man, that is, it must be brought into the earthly life. The soul of the one who does not accept and receive the Spirit of truth - as a symbol, it is My blood - cannot return to eternity, because it does not live in the absolute truth. The soul remains outside the heavens until it has accepted and received Me, the light of the world, its Redeemer. Thus, the one who does not accept and receive Me, his Redeemer, the Co-Regent of the heavens, will not attain absolute perfection.
Recognize that the one who does not accept and receive Me does not accept and receive the Father either, for the Father and I are one.
I, in Jesus of Nazareth, carried out this symbolic event among My own, in order to explain to them that the life, the Spirit of God, is in all forms of life as substance and power, in the food as well as in the drink. For I died for all souls and men, so that they will attain resurrection. During the supper and in everything you do, you should do it in remembrance of Me alone. For what you truly do in My name is well done.
Many people will bleed to death in the mighty turn of time, because they have not accepted and received Me, thus remaining in their sins. But the person who strives for God will celebrate his meal with Me. So, ask for God's blessing for your meal and, while eating, think of the power and love of God, then you will also think of your Redeemer, the Christ of God, who is in the Father.
10. Then, lifting up the offering towards heaven, He said, "The Son of Man is lifted up from the earth, and I will draw all men to Me. Then all will know that I Am sent by God.”
11. And when this had been done, Jesus spoke these words, lifting His eyes to heaven, "Abba, the hour has come, glorify Your Son, that Your Son may be glorified in You.
12. Yes, You have glorified Me; You have filled My heart with fire; You have placed lights at My right and at My left, so that no part of Me would be without light. Your love is shining at My right hand and Your wisdom at My left. Your love, Your wisdom and Your power are manifest in Me.
13. I have glorified You on earth, I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. Holy One, through Your name, keep the twelve and their fellows whom You have given Me, that they may be one just as We are one. While I was with them in the world, I guided them in Your name, and none of them is lost; for the one who left us was not of us, but I pray for him that he may be saved. Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he does.
14. And now I come to You, and I say this to the world, that My joy be fulfilled in them. I give them Your word; and the world hates them, for they are not of the world, just as I Am not of the world.
15. I do not pray that You take them from this world, but that You keep them from evil, as long as they are in the world. They are not of this world, just as I Am not of the world. Bless them through Your truth. Your word is truth. As You have sent Me into the world, so I send them into the world and, for their sake, I sanctify Myself, that they, too, may be sanctified through the truth.
16. I do not pray for them alone, but for all those who will join them and for the seventy-two whom I also sent out. And for all those who will believe in the truth through Your word, that they, too, may be one, as You, Most Holy, are in Me and I in You, that they, too, may be one in You and that the world may know that You have sent Me.
17. Holy Father, I also want that all those You have given Me, yes, all those who live, be with Me where I Am, so that they may partake of the glory which You give Me; for You love Me in all and all in Me, from before the world was created.
18. The world has not known You in Your righteousness, but I know You, and these know that You have sent Me.
19. And I have declared Your name to them, that the love
with which You have loved Me may be in them, and that from them it may abound to all Your
creatures, yes, to all.” And when He had spoken these words, they all raised
their voices with Him and prayed as He had taught them: (Chap. 76:10-19)

This prayer, which was passed on according to its meaning, was not said only for My apostles and disciples; it was and is meant for all people, for all Being.
Those who fulfil the will of God more and more will carry into the world the word of God with which they are filled. This will take place in the present and in the future until I return in the spirit.
In the divine era, in the Kingdom of God on earth, the life of man is a lived prayer, a life which is the eternal law. For the love for God and one's neighbour is the fulfilment of the law.
I, Christ, will exalt the one who loves selflessly, just as the eternal Father has exalted Me. At the same time, I will draw him to Me, his brother, and we will live in God as children of God.
I have brought the Work of Redemption into the world - into all souls and men. Redemption is accomplished in those souls and men who have attained perfection, that is, purity. They have again become one with the Father and have attained the brothership in Me. They are in the brothership with Me - and, in the Father-Mother-God, in the son- and daughtership.
Never let your neighbour out of your heart, even if he has betrayed you or delivered you up, as Judas did to Me. Keep him in your heart, even though he is not with you then but against you. He is and remains your neighbour. This is how it is written in heaven, in the eternal law.
Respect and fulfil the commandment of love: Love your Father with all your heart, with all your strength; love Him in every sensation, in every thought, in every word and in every action; and love your neighbour as you love yourself. And if the love for God prevails in your feeling, thinking, speaking and acting, you will respect yourselves as children of God and also your neighbours, who are likewise children of the eternal Father and whom God, our Father, loves just as He loves you. For in God, your Father and Mine, all are His children. He loves all equally - without distinction. And if you recognize this and accept it, you, too, will make no differences.
The love for God includes forgiveness as well. The one who lives in the Father has the inner greatness which forgives without bearing a grudge.
It is given to the one who fulfils the word of God to proclaim and teach the word of God to the world. But may the one who himself has not actualized the word of God remain silent. For the one who just speaks about the word of God burdens his soul. He sins against the holy word, against God. The words of the one who just preaches and teaches the word of God, without having actualized it, do not enter into the heart of his neighbour; they become a boomerang to the one who sends out the word. And so, the one who just preaches and teaches the word of God, without having actualized it, cannot fill it with strength and power because he is himself without strength.
The one who fills My word with life and power through his own actualization and teaches this in the world is often not understood by the people of this world - and will be hated by many because of the gospel.
The one who fulfils the word of God is not of this world, just as I, too, was not of this world as Jesus of Nazareth. The one who fulfils the word of God is a living wellspring and a stream of inner salvation which streams to all creatures and flows through all things; for God is the power which flows through all things. Therefore, the one who lives in God passes on what God gives him: love, wisdom and power, the stream for all people and all things.
20. "Our Father, You who are above us and in us, hallowed be Your name in the trinity. Your kingdom come to all in wisdom, love and justice. Your holy will be done always as in heaven, so on earth. Let us partake daily of Your holy bread and the fruit of Your living vine. As You forgive us our trespasses, may we forgive others who trespass against us. As we seek to guide others to perfection, perfect us in Your Christ. Give us Your goodness, that we may do the same to others. In the hour of trial, deliver us from evil.
21. For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory: In
the beginning, now, and forever and ever. Amen.” (Chap. 76:20-21)

Epochs have passed since My activity as Jesus of Nazareth. Generations have come and gone. People have prayed at all times. The contents of many of their prayers were the same, but these prayers were said with other words, according to the generation of that time. Therefore, man should not attach too much importance to the earthly word, as it has taken on and can take on another meaning from epoch to epoch, from generation to generation. Therefore, strive to grasp the meaning and also to give it the right meaning.
Through the inner word, through the incarnated part-ray of divine wisdom, I gave
to people [1986] the prayer of unity as a prayer of thanks and love to God. It can be
prayed according to its meaning. It also points to the approach of the Kingdom of God on
earth and to My spiritual return. It became the prayer of the Christ-friends:
Our Father, who are in heaven,
hallowed is Your name.
Our kingdom comes, Your will is done
on earth as it is in heaven.
You give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts,
and we forgive our debtors;
You lead us in time of temptation
and deliver us from evil.
For ours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory,
from eternity to eternity.
22. Then our Master took the holy bread and broke it, and
also the fruit of the vine, and mingled it and blessed both. And He let a fragment of the
bread fall into the cup and blessed the holy union. (Chap. 76:22)

The words "And He let a fragment of the bread fall into the cup and blessed the holy union” show that the writer was influenced by thinking in terms of ceremonies.
Recognize that everything is one in God. Nothing can exist without the other, because God is the substance and the power in everything. The result of this is the union with life. Likewise, the bread and wine are in God and come from God for man, and they cannot be separated. The earth is the provider, the mother of all human beings, who receive from it through the Spirit of God. His Spirit flows through the earth and man and gives life to all Being on earth.
23. Then He gave the bread which He had blessed to His disciples, saying, "Eat, for this is My body, the body of the Christ, which is given to you for the salvation of the body and the soul.”
24. Likewise, He gave them the fruit of the vine which He had blessed, saying to them, "Drink, for this is My blood, the blood of the Christ, which is shed for you and for many, for the salvation of the soul and the body.”
25. And when all had partaken, He said to them,
"Every time you gather in My name, make this offering in memory of Me, prepare the
bread of eternal life and the wine of eternal salvation, and eat and drink of it with a
pure heart, and you will receive the substance and the life of God which dwells in Me.”
(Chap. 76:23-25)

Bread and wine served only as a symbol for the sacrifice of My life and My blood. However, you should not make a ceremony out of it, but remember Me at all times, in all your sensations, thoughts, words and actions.
Likewise, when you partake of the gifts of life which are given to you by God out of the bosom of mother earth, remember the Eternal thankfully and remember My Redeemer-deed as well. And if you do so with a sincere heart, not only your earthly body will receive the spiritual substance, the spiritual life, but also your soul. For the life, God, the spiritual substance, the power, is in all that nature gives to mankind.
26. And when they had sung a hymn of praise, Jesus stood up in the midst of His apostles, and they walked round Him, who was their centre, as in a solemn dance and rejoiced in Him. And then, He went out to the Mount of Olives, and His disciples followed Him.
27. Meanwhile, Judas Iscariot had gone to the house of Caiaphas and said to him, "Behold, He has celebrated the Passover meal within the gates with unleavened bread instead of lamb. I had bought a lamb, but He forbade that it be killed. See, the man from whom I bought it is witness.”
28. And Caiaphas rent his clothes and said, "Truly,
this is no Passover according to the law of Moses. He has committed a deed which is worthy
of death, for it is a grave transgression of the law. For what do we need further
witnesses? Yes, even now two robbers have broken into the temple and stolen the book of
the law; this is the result of His teaching. Let us tell the people who follow Him what He
has done, for they fear the authority of the law.” (Chap. 76:26-28)

The words "... and they walked round Him, who was their centre, as in a solemn dance ...” mean that My apostles and disciples moved close to Me and around Me; for in these moments I was the centre for them, because they felt the grief of My heart and became fearful for their own earthly life.
Moses had to make some concessions to the Israelites; for, like all beings and men, they had and have their free will from God to keep or disregard the laws of life. Despite the warnings and indications of Moses that their thinking and acting did not comply with the will of God, many Israelites remained in sin. Many of them did not keep the laws of God or kept them only in part.
For this reason, too, they spent many years in the desert, because their customs did not comply with the will of God and the life of many was like a desert. The thinking and living of many Israelites repeatedly revolved round the golden calf. In part they brought into the so-called promised land their wicked, egocentric behaviour and their stubbornness against the fulfilment of the laws of God, and they turned the concessions of Moses into their laws - believing they had received them as such from God through Moses. The one who was against their customs in the temple and against their unlawful traditions - which God had supposedly revealed through Moses - was an enemy of what they considered right and just.
It is similar in the present time [1989]. The one who denounces the behaviour of the representatives of the church institutions is described by them as unchristian. The one who does not believe in the dogmas and rites - just as it was with the Israelites in their customs and traditions - is ridiculed, scorned and hated. Many representatives of the church institutions abuse My word - just as the Israelites have abused the word of God through Moses and the concessions of Moses.
It was like this at all times: The one who is not for the prevailing views and opinions of the people, that is, who does not think or believe like them, is a betrayer in their eyes. At all times, the authorities have incited people against righteous men and women.
29. And one who was standing by when Judas came out asked him, "Do you think that they will kill Him?”
30. And Judas said, "No, for He will work a miracle
to deliver Himself out of their hands. When those in the synagogue in Capernaum rose up
against Him and brought Him to the top of the hill, in order to cast Him down, did He not
then pass safely through their midst? So will He surely escape them again and proclaim
Himself openly and establish the kingdom of which He has spoken.” (Chap.
76:29-30)

By betraying Me, Judas wanted to acquire pieces of silver dishonestly.
Take heed, you people, that the same thing does not happen to you, as to Judas. For in the almost 2000 years since then, there were Judases who betrayed their master for a few pieces of silver again and again.
The betrayal of the Christ of God is also apparent today [1989] to those who strive to fulfil the law of God. Many of today's scribes, pharisees and those who bear responsibility in church, in politics and economy use My name for their personal concerns and advantages. This is taking the holy name in vain and thus a sin against the Holy Spirit.
Judas thought that I would evade capture just as I had done before in many situations. Again and again, those who opposed Me wanted to bind, stone or cast Me off the walls - yet I always went My way through them as if invisible, protected by the eternal power.
But now what had to happen happened. Those who were against Me could take Me captive and deliver Me to the high priest and have Me crucified.
Many people repeatedly asked and ask the question: Why did Jesus escape so often from His persecutors and why not on that night? Today [1989], I want to explain only essential aspects of what happened then, for it concerns the redemption which I brought to all souls and men:
The part-power of the primordial power - a part of My spiritual, omnipresent heritage - was therefore withdrawn, because the entire Jewish people had not accepted Me, nor had it received - that is, fulfilled - My teachings, the law of life.
I took over a part of the guilt of the lineage of David and a part of the guilt of some other lineages. Shortly before My capture, I enveloped My pure spirit body with these energy-filled powers from the law of sowing and reaping. This enveloping made Me visible and seizable for the darkness.
Recognize that the lineage of David is the bridge to incarnation for those spirit beings who integrated themselves into the plan of God for the earth and came and come directly from the centre of eternal Being, in order to lead back with Me all that seemed lost.
Since the time of David, they came again and again to pave the way for Me and to prepare the fulfilment of the Redeemer-plan, the plan of salvation. It was intended that, in the earthly garment, these spirit beings from the lineage of David should first of all fulfil the laws themselves. Thus, they should have given the Jewish people an understanding of the laws of life and have been good examples to them, so that these, too, would fulfil the laws in order to recognize Me, the Christ, when I came to them in Jesus.
However, from incarnation to incarnation, many spirit beings in the earthly garment entangled themselves as human beings more and more, that is, they sinned and burdened their souls, so that, because of sin, they no longer felt the reason they had left heaven. Consequently, the incarnated spirit beings from other lineages, who should have been active for the plan of God, could not find support in the people from the lineage of David.
In the course of My activities as Jesus of Nazareth, I had to recognize that the spirit beings - as human beings, Jews from the lineage of David - did not stand by Me because their spirit bodies were too shadowed, that is, they had become entangled in the law of sowing and reaping. Besides, I had to recognize that the Jews talked about the laws of Inner Life, but did not keep them and even used them to subjugate their neighbours. They were blinded by sin, just like the people from the lineage of David.
I knew that I must suffer for the sake of the Work of Redemption. I knew - and it was also revealed to Me in the exaltation, the transfiguration, when cherubim appeared to Me in the spirit garment - that the spirit beings, who were people from the lineage of David and from other lineages in the earthly garment, should carry out with Me the entire plan of God, the redemption and the founding and building of the Kingdom of God on earth. I knew that the lineage of David stood in first place for this.
So that the sons and daughters of God could and can continue to incarnate again by way of the tribe of David, to then be active also on earth for the plan of God, I enveloped Myself above all with a part of the guilt of the lineage of David. It was the guilt of those souls in the plan of God, which had burdened themselves in previous incarnations to such an extent that they could not work for the plan of God over many incarnations. By enveloping My spirit body with a part of this guilt, I became visible and vulnerable to the darkness. This is why they could capture Me.
I endured what then followed - the trial, the lashing, the way of the cross on which I repeatedly fell down, until the crucifixion - for the sake of the lineage of David and also for all Jews and ultimately for all people of all past, present and future generations until the Kingdom of Peace encompasses the earth.
Had the lineage of David been light-filled and had the Jews complied with the laws of God since the time of Moses, they would have lived the all-encompassing laws with the sons and daughters from the lineage of David. The deed of Golgotha for the redemption would not have had to be, because the Israel and Jerusalem of that time would have then been the true Israel and the true Jerusalem - the Kingdom of God, which could have been effective all over the earth at that time.
Even before My time on earth, opportunities for the establishment of the Kingdom of God were created again and again on earth by the Spirit of My Father. Yet people fell into sin more and more.
Had the lineage of David stood firm, the crucifixion would not have had to be. Had the Jewish people been the true people of God, the whole plan of redemption would have taken a different course and I would not have had to withdraw a part of My heritage, the part-power of the primordial power. But now it has been accomplished, and the way to the heart of God is free to all souls and men.
The lineage of David and people from other lineages are now beginning to fulfil more and more their mission in the Work of Redemption, so that the Kingdom of God can come to earth. It is accomplished. This is why I also call the cross the Christ-David-Cross.
